If you are like me and have tried to read a complete work of Friedrich Nietzsche, you find it slow going through a thick forest to find the occasional brilliant plant. These quotations display all the beautiful vegetation without the thick undergrowth.
I love reading quotes, and I actually post some of them in my FB profile, so I was looking for a good book with them.

I came across this title and must admit that I was a little bit skeptical since all the quotations come from one author Friedrich Nietzsche. It kept me turning pages and gave me an idea of Friedrich Nietzsche's genius and figure. Like I said, I read through pages and pages of great quotes from this controversial thinker and I didn't get bored, on the contrary.

It doesn't have to be read in any sort of order; is simple and easy to read. That's why I don't hesitate to warmly recommend this book.

Steven Quayle did a great job with this compilation.
I’m not a big fan of quotation books – can such an approach truly be representative of the work of any writer? However, I have been pleasantly surprised by this Ebook. Firstly, the organisation of the work shows a good understanding of the main themes and a deft editorial hand in imposing a reasonable structure – in itself a very difficult task due to Nietzsche’s aphoristic and non-systemic style. Indeed, it compares well with the approach adopted in Kaufmann’s Antichrist and his Portable Nietzsche. Secondly, there are plenty of gutsy aphorisms – this book has over 500! Truth be told, although (in my opinion) every classic aphorism or phrase is included – there could always be more such is the nature of man’s work. Nietzsche must be one of the most quotable writers in history (possibly Mark Twain can challenge for the title). Although this is not an academic introduction to Nietzsche (and to be fair it does not claim to be so) I can well imagine this book being very useful for those coming fresh to Nietzsche it presents a fair picture of the main themes, is well organised and easy to read virtually a miracle for Nietzsche – and therefore recommended as a welcome introduction to his works!

Broken down perfectly into the topics such as his quotes on; Man, Metaphysics, Mind, Culture Passion, Religion just to name a few. The novel is nicely followed up with a detailed biography on Nietzsche the man, his works and his influence on the 20th Century.
If you’ve ever wanted to read and become intimately familiar with one of the most quoted men in history then this is the perfect book for you. It will easily become the go to book whenever you need a quote or wish to learn something more about this very controversial man.
A broad-ranging intellectual who does not hesitate to precisely and energetically dissect cultures, demigods, and European assumptions about what makes the world turn.
"The Complete quotations of Friedrich Nietzsche" is one of my new personal favorites. I have been a fan and admirer of Nietzsche ever since I read some of his works back in college. This is a great read for anyone new to his ideals. It is a collection of quotations that really get to point of who he was and what he was about. He was truly one of a kind, and I recommend this book to all.
I absolutely loved this book. I, myself, have personally always loved Niezsche, but I didn't really get this for me. My son is starting a Philosophy course in college next semester and 3 weeks of it will be on Niezsche. I bought this thinking it would be a good reference book for him and I was right. The Complete Quotations of Friedrich Niezsche not only contains his quotes, but also reference links and sources for the quotes, making it much easier for my son to reference something if he needs to. This book is awesome and I recommend it for college kids, parents of college kids and all lovers of Niezsche!
